Abstract
MORA NAVARRO, G; ARROJO ARIAS, E; CAPDEVILLA GALLEGO, C and ABON SANTOS, A. Post-cholecystectomy syndrome and anomalous pancreatobiliar union : a case report . Medifam [online]. 2001, vol.11, n.2, pp.100-105. ISSN 1131-5768.
We report a case of a 61 years old woman who complained of recurrent chronic abdominal pain, despite of cholecystectomy 37 years ago. After several complementary examinations, an endoscopic retrograde cholanpancreatography revealed an anomalous pancreatobiliar union. When these rare maljunctions are diagnosed, they can be treated with surgery in some cases and it also allows the diagnosis of some diseases associated with them frequently (gallblader cancer, pancreatitis).
