Abstract
CHAVERO CARRASCO, V.; SALGUERO MOLPECERES, O.; LOPEZ RUANO, P. and ALVAREZ MONTERO, S.. Treatment of shoulder pain: non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) or intraarticular inyection? . Medifam [online]. 2002, vol.12, n.5, pp.63-69. ISSN 1131-5768.
In a double blinded randomized clinical trial on 100 patients seen in a Rheumatologic clinic was observed that, after a follow up of 4 weeks, the treatment of the painful shoulder with triamcinolona injections was superior to naproxeno for improvement of the pain (p=0.04), but not in the active abduction and the functional limitation (there were not differences statistically significant). Neither there were significant differences for the remissions.
