Abstract

Ganglia or synovial cysts are benign cystic swelling arising associated with a joint or tendon sheat, most commonly located at dorsum of wrist and ankle. A patient with an unusual ganglion location, dependent from the acromioclavicular joint, and associated with chronic degenerative arthropathy of shoulder, is described. Clinical symptoms, diagnosis and therapeutic approach are reviewed.
