Cultural competence as a Nursing applied knowledge will be one of the most significant research areas for the next decades. Development of theories and models in Cultural competence shows a way of progress towards quality in cares. The aim of this article is to show the Nursing research team characteristics when going deepper into the Care research area from the view of Cultural competence and Qualitative research. This study gives a concept of Cultural competence as well as its three components such as: cultual knowledge, cultual sensitivity and cultural collaboration. These components help us to understand the role of the research team inside the Qualitative research applied to the universe of cares, taking as a reference the quality in the relationship between the researcher and the person. It is necessary to conclude saying that a relationship of quality determins a Qualitative research of quality that produces Nursing knowledge.
