Abstract

CHAMIZO VEGA, Carmen. The perspective of gender in the spanish nursing. Index Enferm [online]. 2004, vol.13, n.46, pp.40-44. ISSN 1699-5988.

The Spanish history of the nursing has been written traditionally by men under a strong catholic influence, lacking a feministic current. This fact gave rise a conceptual idea of the nursing with large differences in gender into of the society. This paper analyze the profession using four items: concept of gender, feminism, education and the right use of the assigned power.
