Abstract

This essay provides a critical reflection on the performance of nursing in relation to the hegemonic sanitary systems. It takes into account the contributions made by philosophy and formulates a personal view of the current situation based on Nietzsche and Levinas standpoints to eventually prepare the way for nursing in the future.
