Being so fundamental to advance in the knowledge of the relation of care nurse-patient, and, particularly, on the moral aspects that guide and regulate such a relation, this article analyzes, based on some theoretical models, the relevance of the qualitative paradigm -with a narrative biographical approach- to study the values, feelings and moral actions that constitute the relation between nurses and persons who live with Human Immunodeficiency Virus or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome.
