Breast cancer is a disease that has great emotional and psychological impact on women diagnosed. Therefore, it is essential that health professionals know and understand the psychological needs of patients and their emotional state since they influence directly on the process of coping and recovery. The main character of the story is a 52 year-old-woman recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This biographical story shows the experiences, emotions and feelings that have emerged following the diagnosis. The aim is to describe the meaning of the experiences associated with the disease that has developed the informant.
