RUIZ-BUGARIN, Cynthia Lizbeth and ONOFRE-RODRIGUEZ, Dora Julia. Theoretical substructuring: Model of Sexual Assertive Behavior in migrants. Index Enferm [online]. 2021, vol.30, n.1-2, pp.85-89. Epub Apr 25, 2022. ISSN 1699-5988.
Objective:
To describe the development of a Model of Assertive Sexual Behavior in Migrants.
Development:
The model was elaborate through the methodology proposed by Dulock and Holzemer, made up of four steps: (1) identify and isolate the main concepts, (2) specify the relationships between the concepts, (3) hierarchically order the concepts of according to their level of abstraction and (4) illustrate the current relationships between the variables.
Conclusion:
The model can be useful to explain the factors that influence assertive sexual behavior in people who need to migrate, and with this, contribute to the development of effective procedures for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections.
