The present report makes a detailed revision and up date of a new pain killer recently included in Spanish handbook. It has oral route of administration and controlled liberation. Opioid analgesic mechanism and pharmacokinetic are described. The differences with other opioids are analysed. The incidence of side effects is studied and compared with other. Finally guidelines are described for being used.
