Inequality refers to the differences in matter of health that are unnecessary, avoidable and unjust. The origin of inequality has to be searched in social processes, not in natural and supernatural causes. The objective of our work is to demonstrate that social inequality in health not only persists during old age but increases. Bibliography about poverty, feminity, solitude, disability in old people has been reviewed to know their effects on health.
