Abstract

In the present paper, we shall first review the different classifications of the lesions that may appear after an explosion as proposed by different authors. After that, we shall examine the medico-legal questions that the author of the paper considers must be solved when a death is caused by an explosion. Finally, we'll approach the systematics of medico-legal studies used for the resolution of the above questions and we'll check that the said systematics does not fail to observe the recommendation of the Council of Ministers of the Member States of the European Council in what regards the harmonizing of the regulations concerning medico-legal autopsies (point 8 of the specific proceedings).
