Abstract

MORENO CANTERO, F.  and  FAGUNDEZ VARGAS, M.A.. Ocular traumatisms: forensic aspects. Cuad. med. forense [online]. 2002, n.29, pp.05-19. ISSN 1988-611X.

For most pathlogists who are not specialists in the matter, establishing the aetiology of lesions and the follow-up thereof in ocular pathologies poses a serious problem due to their complexity and specificity. We have therefore made a short review of the most important opthalmologic lesions which can appear as a result of traumatism, including treatment and follow up, trying wherever possible to make a differential diagnosis with common diseases.

Keywords : forensic medicine; forensic pathology; ocular traumatism; evaluation of corporal damage.
