Abstract

SALGUERO VILLADIEGO, M.; LAFFITE-TEOPE, C.I.  and  CANSINO VELEZ, M.. Sudden cardiac death in young woman. Cuad. med. forense [online]. 2003, n.34, pp.57-59. ISSN 1988-611X.

We present a case of sudden cardiac death in a young woman without arteriosclerotic pathology in the coronary arteries. In the myocardium and the valvular apparatus morphologic alterations were not appreciated. In the anterior coronary descending artery there is noticeable a dissecting hematoma that produces a complete occlusion of the vascular light without any morphologic evidence of cystic degeneracy of the tunica media. iagnosis: spontaneous dissection of the anterior coronary descending artery.
