We present a case of suicide by hydrochloric acid (Salfuman) massive ingestión. The intense caustic injury to the stomach allowed the pouring of the liquid into both thoracic and abdominal cavities, which caused chemical mediastinitis and peritonitis with extensive coagulating necrosis that practically affected all visceras.
