Abstract

SUBIRANA DOMENECH, M. et al. Forensic anthropology as a complementary technique in forensic pathology: Case report. Cuad. med. forense [online]. 2011, vol.17, n.4, pp.203-205. ISSN 1988-611X.  https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/S1135-76062011000400006.

Forensic anthropology usually only studies skeletons, human remains, corpses in bad condition or dismemberments, but it can also be outstandingly useful as a complementary technique in ordinary autopsies with bone injuries. The case we are presenting is about a teenager who suffered an unique incision in his chest and in whose post skeletonization more rib injuries became evident.

Keywords : Forensic anthropology; Forensic pathology; Stab wound; Skeletonization.
