Listeria monocytogenes is a foodborne pathogen that usually cause gastroenteritis, fever, sepsis and meningitis, which characteristically affects immunocompromised, newborns, pregnant women and elderly people, with controversial and unknown epidemiology. We report a case of meningitis and secondary inadequate secretion of antidiuretic hormone syndrome in immunocompetent patient.
