Abstract

Acute scrotal pain is a clinical entity that in a high percentage of cases is associated with an urgent need for medical intervention such as testicular torsion. Testicular ultrasound is use for diagnosis and the increased use in recent decades are being made incidental findings as testicular microlithiasis. Usually a benign condition but described her association with testicular tumors, so a periodic clinical and ultrasound monitoring is recommended.
