Abstract

Helicobacter pylori infection is a less known cause of halitosis in pediatrics. Since the end of the last century there have been studies suggesting an association between halitosis and Helicobacter pylori infection, and its improvement after infection eradication. We present one case in which halitosis appears as the only clinical manifestatiton of Helicobacter pylori infection, which disappears after bacterial eradication.

Keywords : Gastritis; Gastrointestinal diseases; Halitosis; Helicobacter pylori; Triple therapy.
