Abstract

BANOS, Josep-E.  and  PEREZ, Jorge. New activities for developing generic skills in the health sciences. Educ. méd. [online]. 2005, vol.8, n.4, pp.40-49. ISSN 1575-1813.

The development of generic skills in undergraduate students is considered to be especially important in the process leading to the European Space of Higher Education, in the area of the health sciences in particular. This paper explains the reasons for this importance and proposes a set of activities that may help to improve generic skills at undergraduate level. Most of the activities have been tested in the School of Health and Life Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, and other Spanish Universities.
