Abstract

CHRIZOSTIMO, Miriam Marinho  and  BRANDAO, André Augusto Pereira. The training professional of nurses: state of the art. Enferm. glob. [online]. 2015, vol.14, n.40, pp.414-429. ISSN 1695-6141.

When we reflect on the theme of this research, the training of nurses, it is understood that it occurs within the teaching-learning, formal or informal relationship. The purposes, procedures and mechanisms of this relationship are always based on some theory, but rarely the theoretical support is clearly identified by social actors involved here: the teacher and the student, the educator and educating. The general objective of this research is to map the academic production to the discussion in two areas (education and health) knowledge. For this purpose, in 2011, we seek research considered state of the art or state of knowledge that has bibliographic and indicates compliance with a method that would invent and describes the academic and scientific literature on the subject that investigates. In this way, the results are in 26 scientific works that express the nursing education that has evolved over time, albeit slowly, moving in a less directive education to a more reflective. At the same time, the discussion on the Nurse design in the context of education and vocational training of nursing are associated with social practice of nursing and can justify the distribution among the publications that refer to higher education and vocational education. Thus, the state of the art showed the theme of dominance on the point of view of vocational training in nursing contemplating higher education and continuing education without losing the focus of social commitment.

Keywords : Higher education; Professional qualification; nurse; social commitment.
