Abstract

ALTAMIRA-CAMACHO, Ramiro  and  DE LA CRUZ-ALVARADO, Mariana Guadalupe. Phenomenological trajectory; hermeneutical path of health experience. Temperamentvm [online]. 2022, vol.18, e13928.  Epub Apr 17, 2023. ISSN 1699-6011.  https://dx.doi.org/10.58807/tmptvm20224971.

Introduction:

Phenomenology emerges as a need to break with previous positivist paradigms that sought to enclose the phenomena under study in an inflexible structure. It stands out in nursing research for its subjective nature, which is linked to the essence of that human being, allowing access to different spheres of being cared for, which is part of the time and space of the world.

Objective:

To identify and explain the characteristics of the phenomenological trajectory that was traced during the path of qualitative research with a hermeneutic approach.

Development:

Key points were found that were essential for understanding the method: stages, moments and reductions of the phenomenological research, in addition to the hermeneutic circle. The recognition of these points allowed the unveiling of the phenomenological trajectory.

Conclusion:

No document was found that specifies the components of the phenomenological trajectory, however, through the bibliographic review carried out along the way by the phenomenological method, it was possible to identify key points, which are of great help for the understanding of said path method.

Keywords : Qualitative research; Phenomenology; Nursing.
