Abstract

There are many skin lesions that are of different shades of brown. This could alarm family doctors who may diagnose a disease with poor a prognosis. Becher´s Nevus is one of these lesions and it usually occurs in young people, especially males. It appears has a brown macule on the skin and is mainly symptom-free. Patients usually go to the doctor for aesthetic reasons. A differential diagnosis must be made with other skin diseases such as congenital melanocyctic nevus, neurofibromatosis, and cutaneous amyloidosis amongst others.
