Abstract

GONZALEZ FERNANDEZ, Cristina  and  FERNANDEZ REVILLA, Javier Miguel. Mangement of Etonogestrel Subdermal implants in Primary Care. Rev Clin Med Fam [online]. 2011, vol.4, n.2, pp.146-149. ISSN 2386-8201.

We work in a Health Area in which it is essential to be aware of and be trained in contraception methods because unwanted pregnancies are a significant problem. The most effective contraceptive methods are those that don't depend on patient compliance. Etonogestrel subdermal implants are effective with few contraindications and easy to implant, this makes them an ideal method for use in Primary Care.

Keywords : Pregnancy; Unwanted; Contraception; Drugs Implants.
