Lingual pathology appears in the dental office very frequently. There are a lot of different lingual pathologies, including geographic tongue. This inflammatory condition appears as an ulcer-like, multifocal, irregular region with its borders elevated. It is usually located on the dorsum of the tongue. It is usually asymptomatic and no treatment is needed in most cases. Its prevalence is between 1 and 2%, being more frequent in children, and less common in adults. This article presents one case on geographic tongue that took place in BAA «Castilla» during its deployment in ATALANTA Operation, between July and December 2018.
