Abstract

Antecedents and objectives:

Along the article it´s attempted to make a description of the certification within the quality normative of the ISO 9001 and their main derivate benefits. Quality is a general field which application in any professional ambit it has to be taken into consideration, hence we might gather the interest from different professional fields. However, we pretend apply the generated knowledge mainly in medical and military ambit, originating a document which start a literature which bring together our learned lessons.

Material and methods:

As a basis about the information generation process all the available documental resources, mainly from the e-BDI Plus® (TecnoQuality Consulting) software as a tool of the Quality Management System. Referring to the bibliographic revision, data bases like Pubmed, Medline and Clinical Key were used. As to complement those, generic search engines such as Google have been also useful.

Results:

The definition of a series of organizing goals and reached successfully suppose the consecution of the ISO 9001-2015 certification in December 2019. Among other data, we have generated 27 quality indicators, which goals were successfully reached on a 96.3% of the cases, and 51 incidences, solved between 21 and 63 days.

Conclusions:

The decision about involve ourselves into a working ambit regulated and standardized by a high-level structure like the one which the ISO model present have improved and consolidated our capacities.
