Background: HIV infected people are a special care group because they present a immune"compromised system. These people have higher risk of infection and suffer adverse effects from the vaccine, therefore, it's interesting a detailed study of the vaccine. Methodology: descriptive study through a literature search. Results: 50 articles allow a detailed description of the characteristics of a 14 vaccines set for this people group. Conclusion: the majority of vaccines are recommended. The CD4 count should be > 200 cells/mm³ and the HIV-infected people should take the antiretroviral treatment.
