Abstract
NIETO FRANCO, Florentino. Implementación robótica de una visión intencional del cuidado cíclico dirigido al Otro. Ene. [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.3, 739. Epub Nov 23, 2017. ISSN 1988-348X.
A relevant fact in our current society is the incorporation of new technologies in different contexts. Among them, robotics, included within the discipline of Artificial Intelligence, highlights. When approaching this reality, a question arises as follows: what repercussions and possibilities would the supposed intelligent robots have? We refer to the impact on the development of new research, the daily context of people’s lives and what possible new relationships would arise as a result.
Specifically, in the present research work we propose a non-trivial topic because it’s inherent to the life of the people: care directed to the Other and its implementation in a robotic agent. For this purpose, the constitutive elements of care for the Other and their relationships were analyzed. Two types of care are identified with two types of intentionality: procedural (methodical sequencing) and cyclical (which attends to the nature of life and incorporates notions such as accompaniment, responsibility and alterity), developing in the present investigation the second of them.
