Abstract

SANTAMARIA PEREZ, Adrián; MARTINEZ BOTIJA, Sergio; SANTAMARIA GARCIA, José María  and  PINTO FREYRE, Jesús. Propuesta de un marco para una bioética del cuidado, o como si la vida importase: hacia una comprensión de (y un compromiso ante) nuestra finitud. Ene. [online]. 2018, vol.12, n.3, 1231. ISSN 1988-348X.

If bioethics is that discipline that aims to install us as agents in the phenomenon of life, then, it must have some idea of what this consist on as a complex phenomenon, full of interactions, in which we find ourselves. This is, then, the objective of this writing: to draw a frame that allows us to understand in a correct way life from these coordinates. To achieve this objective, we advocate for a perspective which we have called ‘of the totality’, which attends the complex interrelations and the systematic dynamics both of the ecosystems and of the societies that are built on them. What is addressed here is, so, the multiple declinations of all that, with the ultimate goal of providing us a frame from which we can reflect about, posteriorly, our agency as individuals and its limits.
