Abstract

BOTELLA, Carmen; MORENO, Matilde; FERNANDEZ-VILLACANAS, Miguel A  and  GARCIA-ESTAN LOPEZ, Joaquín. Forms for the online process of objective structured clinical examinations (OSCE). FEM (Ed. impresa) [online]. 2017, vol.20, n.4, pp.199-204.  Epub Aug 16, 2021. ISSN 2014-9840.  https://dx.doi.org/10.33588/fem.204.902.

In this article we show a simple and free method to carry out the entire OSCE evaluation process that allows the almost immediate record of the results obtained by the examiners. The process is completely online, eliminating, therefore, the need to fill out checklists in paper and the subsequent analysis of all these results. The method begins with the preparation of these checklists that, once finished, will allow them to be filled online from laptops or tablets, even from the current mobile phones or smartphones. For this, the Google Forms system has been used. In relation to the commercial systems present in the market, we emphasize that the system we present stands out for its simplicity, immediacy and, most of all, free of charge.
