In order to determine the students' knowledge of these objectives and competences, the students completed a nominal questionnaire telling their opinion about the strategy followed and the way in which they understood the subject, objectives, methods of study, etc. Following the publication of the qualifications, and depending on such qualifications, pupils were distributed in a group of higher performance and in other of lower performance group. Differences in both groups were analyzed through the questionnaires.

After these activities, there was a significant improvement in the academic score, respect to Human Physiology I. Also, it was possible to verify that the group of students of greater performance was more committed in carrying out the educational strategy and they had clearer the objectives pursued.
