Abstract

Objectives:
the aim is to present a global vision of the complex network of relationships established between mental health or mental illness of people and occupational health of workers and the different actors involved.
Material and Methods:
through a search on internet of publications or reports of official organisms and institutions or scientific, professional or business associations, information about these relationships is found. Different aspects of them are studied separately and then integrated into a global and interrelated vision.
Results and Discussion:
an integrating diagram is proposed that summarizes and schematizes the relationships and interdependencies between both fields and analyzes these relationships through a SWOT matrix.
Conclusions:
in order to address the relationship between occupational health and mental health problems, the collaboration of various agents and devices is required in a continuous and permanent process of communication and multidisciplinary cooperation.
