Double inferior vena cava (DIVC) is a rare congenital anomaly, but with great clinical implications, both in the surgical and intraoperative planning of surgeries where the retroperitoneum is approached, as well as in thromboembolic disease.
In the following report and review, a case of a 90-year-old patient with thromboembolic disease and DIVC is presented.
