Abstract
GRYNGRAS, Natalia and MANARO, Beatriz. Nasal glial heterotopia:: case report. Cir. plást. iberolatinoam. [online]. 2022, vol.48, n.1, pp.97-102. Epub May 02, 2022. ISSN 1989-2055. https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/s0376-78922022000100012.
Congenital face tumors are frequently referred to the pediatric plastic surgeon. Most of them are benign lesions, but they are striking because of their localization. The nasal midline masses are especially important because they may have intracranial connections, they can cause airway obstruction and because the delay in correct diagnosis and treatment may cause long term sequelae.
We will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of nasal glial heterotopia: regarding a two-year-old patient.
