Abstract

SILVA SANTOS PASSOS, Silvia da  and  PEREIRA, Álvaro. Sensitive care to families in the hospitalization of one of its members. Index Enferm [online]. 2015, vol.24, n.3, pp.144-148. ISSN 1699-5988.  https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/S1132-12962015000200006.

The sensitive care demand nursing actions in the order of the subjective, which are includes sensitive reason, creativity, aesthetics, solidarity, freedom and partnership, an association with the humanized care. The family care that accompanies a hospitalized family member requires nursing team involvement to realize the subjectivity of a care order sensitive. With the goal to contribute to discussions about the care sensitive companion family in the hospital environment we aim to reflect on our practices in this perspective. This reflection is based on the Comprehensive Sociology of the Sociologist Michel Meffesoli. The nurse puts into practice the instrumental rationality to maintain institutional norms, order and discipline, still, uses the open rationality to hear family and understand their needs and weaknesses, putting into practice the real meaning for care.
