Abstract
PEREZ-BUSTAMANTE, F. J. et al. Premedication with oral fentanil (CFOT) in paedriatic surgery. Rev. Soc. Esp. Dolor [online]. 2008, vol.15, n.2, pp.69-74. ISSN 1134-8046.
The surgery in the paedriatic population represents a source of disconfort for the patient and his familiar surroundings that often are infravalued, so much by these as by the professionals. Still there is much to make to diminish this impact and to provide to the children emotional conditions adapted to face the surgery and the postoperative period. The objective of this work was to demonstrate the utility of fentanyl oral (CFOT) to provide ansiolityc and postoperative analgesia. 10 ug/Kg of CFOT was administered previous to intervention to a group of 45 children submissive for amigdalectomy and the behavior was valued, the collaboration and the analgesia obtained in the immediate postoperative period. The obtained results was compared with those of a similar placebo group. Student and ANOVA, obtaining themselves significant differences as far as the collaboration degree, ansiolityc and analgesia in favor of group CFOT. We maintain that this method is in addition safe, simple and enjoys a great acceptance on the part of the parents and professionals implied in the welfare process.
