Abstract

It is exposed the clinical case of a 58 years old adult who attends the emergency department for pain and worsening of large ulcers, of more than one year of evolution in both lower extremities, treated by the patient.
Objective:
To boost the cicatrization of venous etiology ulcers by combing both hydrodetersive dressing and multilayer compression bandages.
Method:
Clinical case of methodological approach, with informed consent to the patient.
Results:
Infection, pain, edema and ulcers of venous etiology have been treated and prevented in both lower limbs in 6 months of treatment. The time between priests in the health center was extended to once a week. The patient reported satisfaction and comfort during treatment.
Discussion:
Comprehensive care is considered necessary for people with chronic venous ulcers. It is not only a local cure, it is necessary to make an integral assessment of the patient and his environment.
