In this article we offer data on the report made by Pedro Máximo Ruiz, Director of the Jerez de la Frontera Municipal Antimalarial Dispensary, specifically on the campaign against this disease carried out in 1937, including in his report not only Jerez but also statistics of patients from other towns in the province and from other localities atended by the Dispensary. They are also analyzed, among other aspects, the most frequent clinical forms of malaria, clinical examinations, laboratory tests and medication dispensed to patients, as well as the proposals for improvement in the fight against malaria carried out by Pedro Máximo.
