A 38-year-old male patient was admitted to the emergency room after 5 days of diffuse abdominal pain and distention, nausea, and vomiting. Physical examination revealed mild tenderness, an epigastric mass and low-grade fever. Laboratory tests showed an increase in C-reactive protein and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase. The CT scan performed confirm the diagnosis.
