We report a 74-year-old woman with a gradual increase in generalized itching over three months. After her doctor’s monitoring because of her major symptoms and despite having been treated with antihistamines and corticosteroids, organic pathology was ruled out analytically. The patient was referred to dermatology where she was diagnosed with autoimmune bullous pemphigoid.
