Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients - new edition now available from Pharmaceutical Press

Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients is internationally recognised as the authoritative source of information on pharmaceutical excipients giving a comprehensive guide to uses, properties and safety. The handbook collects together essential data on the physical properties of excipients as well as providing information on their safe use and potential toxicity. All 380 monographs are also thoroughly cross-referenced and indexed to allow their identification by chemical, non-proprietary or trade names. The changes of this new edition are:

• 40 new monographs including Cellaburate, Dextran, EthyleneGlycol, and Vinyl Alcohol Grafted Copolymer, d-Manose, Polyvinyl Acetate Dispersion, Pullulan, Pyroxylin and Sucrose Palmitate.

• New infra-red (IR) spectra figures for over 100 excipients to join over 150 existing near infra-red spectra

• New Appendix created in response to user requests to aid the search for alternative excipients with the same function

Handbook of Pharmaceutical is the go-to reference work on excipients for drug formulators, manufactures, regulatory associations and legal bodies.
