Traditionally, family and specifically women has been responsible for the care of dependents. Social changes in Spain, have caused the company look for other strategies in caring for dependents, immigrant women to be a resource to address this deficit, under the logic of the underground economy and the consequent perpetuation of the sexual division labor and gender inequalities and ethnicity. The aim of this work is to publicize the situation of women and caregivers, barriers and difficulties they face. literature review of the literature published in national and international databases unlimited data published in English or Spanish. In conclusion it is desirable to recover the role of the nurse in the training of caregivers, counseling and seeking help to families and caregivers.
