The COVID-19 Pandemic has led several countries to implement prevention measures such as social distancing and confinement, which has affected people in their mental health. For this reason, the Nursing Care Process was developed in a group of university students with manifestations of stress, associated with social distancing through the application of the Betty Neuman Systems model and interventions that allowed us to face the psychosocial impact of change.
The NANDA Nursing Diagnosis taxonomies, the Nursing Outcomes Classification, the Nursing Interventions Classification and the Betty Neuman systems model were used in the study to identify stressors. The nursing process focused on the diagnoses of: Transfer stress syndrome, anxiety and interruption of family processes allowed to improve the ability of students to adapt to the stressors generated by social distancing and confinement.
