Falls are a public health problem, and their prevention is key in managing them. Out patient suffers a casual fall in the bathroom of his home that ends with a hip fracture and therefore a loss of independence and quality of life. For its assessment, the “Mid-Range Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms” is used, whose authorship is led by thenurse and doctor in sociology Elisabeth Lenz and she has to Linda Pugh, Renee Milligan and Andreu Gift as collaborators.
A care plan is made through the standardized languages NANDA, NOC and NIC. The patient achieved an improvement in his health through adherence to the plan and our intervention from the community setting.
