Augmentation mammoplasty is a very common surgery in our medium, with very well described complications. The acute hematoma after augmentation mammoplasty has a global incidence of 2-10%, however the subacute and late hematoma are rare, being the most common late complication the capsular contracture.
We present a case of a 22 years old patient submitted to augmentation mammoplasty and who 19 days after surgery presented a hematoma following the autoinduction of vomiting to maintain her weight, whitout previous clinical background of bulimic.
