Resumen
GELABERT-GONZALEZ, M.. Delayed brain haematoma following stereotactic biopsy. Neurocirugía [online]. 2007, vol.18, n.1, pp.36-39. ISSN 1130-1473.
The use of stereotactic biopsy sampling in the management of intracranial lesions has been well established; due to its minimally invasive nature, the potential risks associated to this procedure are sometimes understimated. The most commonly complication encountered after stereotactic biopsy is haemorrhage. This report presented a case of delayed brain haemorrhage presented 17 days after stereotactic biopsy for a brain tumor.
