Resumen
DIEZ PATRICIO, Antonio. More on interpretation (II): ideas and beliefs. Rev. Asoc. Esp. Neuropsiq. [online]. 2017, vol.37, n.131, pp.127-143. ISSN 2340-2733.
In this second part of the study, the ambiguous concept of belief is addressed. In ordinary language, the term belief basically refers to two notions: an epistemological one, the idea or reflexive belief, and a psychological one, belief as a disposition to action. Both notions include a third one, namely knowledge. Knowledge is thus envisaged as an idea based on objectively sufficient reasons. As for belief as a disposition for action, individual and collective beliefs, the relationship between belief and knowledge, and belief systems, are discussed.
