Resumen

GARCIA-BARDON, Victoria de Felipe  y  VAZQUEZ-RAMO, Elena. The “corredor terapéutico” setting in operative group psychotherapy: review of the concept and findings. Rev. Asoc. Esp. Neuropsiq. [online]. 2022, vol.42, n.142, pp.217-234.  Epub 20-Feb-2023. ISSN 2340-2733.  https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/s0211-57352022000200012.

The excessive and complex demand for mental health services requires specific and adapted therapeutic settings. In the eighties Bauleo designs the “corredor terapéutico” setting. This paper deals with a review of this concept and the results of its implementation at the University Hospital of Guadalajara from 2012 to the present. It is concluded that the “corredor terapéutico” setting continues to be valid in the current context of public mental health assistance, since in the investigations we have carried out we have verified (among other results) that through this setting we can adequately attend to patients who demand psychotherapy in different group devices. In addition, from the 12th session on, the perception of group help and efficacy is high; and as the therapeutic process progresses, patients value factors that imply greater psychological change as more effective (assessed through the Zukerfeld Group Functioning Scale, EFG-25).

Palabras clave : public health system; mental health services; group psychotherapy; operative group; “corredor terapéutico” setting.
