Conclusions: Necessary, strengthen prevention as part of National Systems for Safety and Health at Work. To address the management of EEPP, adopt a more proactive approach, where the prevention of these diseases is an essential element and perform a more prominent from the earliest stages role in supporting efforts to promote health workers and prevent their diseases. Preventive action is essential to promote good occupational health, a healthier society and a more sustainable and effective social security system. Anticipating responding better reduce the incidence of damage from work and limit undoubtedly the need for processing medical or disability pensions treatments. Workers who remain healthy help maintain the competitiveness of enterprises. The Social Security system is a shared responsibility and it is important that workers under their protection commit adopting healthy lifestyles and taking advantage of all opportunities that society offers them to stay active. That is why, in addition to promoting the health of workers and the prevention of occupational risks, a proactive and preventive system management EEPP involves actions that support if possible, return to work of workers affections of these pathologies.
