Hypertensive disorders in pregnant women generate various negative health experiences for her and her child, However, the uncertainty supported by social support decreases their negativity and increases the acceptance of the experience before pregnancy. The aim of this article is to analyze the characteristics of pregnant women with hypertensive disorders, in relation to the concepts of uncertainty and social support; in order to propose a care that highlight the situations or negative experiences of pregnancy for restructuring the care given. Uncertainty, by the way, is a cognitive state that helps to create a meaning to the situation with sufficient signal, For this reason the reflection is oriented to think about how to provide humane care and, transformer for the mother during her lived experience of pregnancy.
